Not to Be Dramatic, But Love Isn't Real is an essay inspired by NPR's "Modern Love" segment. The story is about a tumultuous and destructive relationship that I allowed to rule my life from the ages of eighteen to twenty.

Candles

The assignment for this project was to photograph items in our immediate area at the time and write a short story about that item. Candles are a comfort item for me, and that idea is what inspired this story, as well as the photo to the left.
