A Dog Without Shame
A Dog Without Shame is about a young girl who is sexually assaulted by a young man/sexual partner whom she thought she could at least trust with her body. This film takes the audience through the short-term impact that the trauma resulting from this violent act has on the young girl, as well as what all of this might mean for the person she wanted to be and the person that she will now become.
Reconciling With Myself
This short story is an account of my complicated, lifelong relationship with religion while being raised Catholic. I performed a reading of this story at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This was opening night for the gallery, where a new installation inspired by the theme "getting lost" was unveiled.
Questions About Society
What do you think is the biggest issue that we, as Americans, are currently facing in our society? What have you experienced or observed that makes you think that to be true? My project is inspired by the work of Brandon Stanton with his Humans of New York project. My goal is to find out what Americans, regardless of their political affiliations, are most concerned about. I attempt to find an answer to these questions in my Questions About Society photographic series through one-on-one interviews and open group discussions among my subjects.
